We are a regional Signator Investors, Inc. office, selling a full spectrum of investment and insurance products to individuals, families, and business owners. Signator is one of the largest independent broker/dealers in the US.
Our firm offers advisors both an operating and marketing platform from which to propel their practice. For advisors who seek a full service office environment, we offer that. We support offices throughout Florida. An increasing percentage of our advisors have chosen to set up their own office closer to their local market. This provides our firm with a wider geography, but a more local presence. As a result, our use of video conferencing services has become an important resource to convey information, maintain advisor access to wholesalers, for training and updates, and, increasingly, for client meetings.
Full Support: Your Brand or Our Brand
Many of our advisors not only choose the markets and products they sell without quotas, but operate under their own brand. In that sense, our firm increasingly supports a stable of branded practice groups, rather than individuals branded under our corporate brand, although individual advisors are welcome to use our firm’s brand or associate with one of our affiliated branded practices.
Our broker/dealer is Signator Investors, Inc., one of the largest independent broker/dealers in the US. Signator offers our advisors a wide range of investment capabilities to serve nearly every client need. Our platform offers a wide variety of consultative platforms, managed money options, and an open platform of vendors. Our advisors decide which vendor solutions are best for their clients.
We sell protection products through several distributor organizations to help ensure our affiliated advisors may access a wide range of solutions. Our unbiased compensation model for investment and insurance products allows our advisors to design solutions from any and all sections of our platform. Our advisors may focus on any or all segments of the investment-insurance spectrum.
Digital Phone System
Our firm invests in its technology infrastructure to benefit its affiliated advisors. We recently installed a new digital phone system which allows our geographically dispersed offices and advisors to function as a unified enterprise.
We support Adobe Connect® as our primary video conference/webinar platform. This platform provides the most extensive options and capability of competing platforms. We conduct our Monday Morning Meeting on this platform and utilize it for firm training, wholesaler product updates, prospecting webinars, and collaborative needs on a regular basis.
Our firm has invested and continues to invest in its digital marketing capabilities. The firm promotes its online presence on its web site and on multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. This capability is shared with our affiliated advisors to help them promote their online presence. We utilize our firm as a buying cooperative to negotiate packages our advisors may not be able to negotiate individually, providing them with lower cost, higher value access to technology.
The firm provides strategic marketing services to its advisors to help them develop their advisory specialty. This firm-level support is led by a staff member with an MBA, extensive marketing experience, and specialty resources (graphic design, digital marketing, video production, content/presentation creation, etc.) which may be used as necessary to help the advisor achieve his or her goals.
Financial Wellness Program
Our firm offers a proprietary, branded financial wellness program that adds to our advisors’ marketing arsenal. The financial wellness program provides two revenue opportunities.
- As a fee-based, strictly educational workplace/association benefit.
- As a means to engage the employees and members of these organizations on a formal or informal basis who have personal financial questions and needs. This often results in new clients for the advisors.
Our program includes fully compliant ready-to-use presentations that may be delivered via webinar or in-person.
Our firm’s broker/dealer network provides multidisciplinary practice management consultants who are available to our firm’s advisors. This includes advisory support for building marketable practice equity as an exit strategy and practice modeling for recruitment, retention, and practice growth. We offer and have implemented continuity and succession programs for our advisors to both protect them and their clients.
Best Practices Retreat
Our 2-day annual retreat at a Captiva Island resort where our top advisors exchange best practice innovations and help each other overcome common practice management problems consistently ranks as the most productive event of the year for them.
We encourage our advisors to invest in a CRM of their choice and to collaborate and share their knowledge and experience with other advisors. Our network platform provides extensive training videos, tutorials, and other support for SmartOffice CRM powered by Ebix. Our staff provides additional support on the firm level to our advisors. Much of our filing activity is already digital, we recently adopted digital signature capability, and we continuously innovate.
